Full-Day Activities
During the mornings in this activity, campers will dive into ocean exploration by collecting and studying plankton, as well as building their own underwater ROV. In the afternoon, they'll hit the water with kayaks or SUPs, putting their teamwork and paddling skills to the test through exciting games.
In this two-day camp, campers will learn the fundamentals of sailing on a single-person Sabot. Each day will begin with land-based instruction covering the basics of sailing, followed by time on the water to apply what they’ve learned. Campers who gain confidence and skill will be ready to advance to the Adventure Sailing program in future sessions. (Be sure to check out the Adventure Sailing Session in April!)
PREREQUISITE: Returning LITs only. Must have served as an LIT in a previous season.
Half-Day Activities
In this afternoon camp, campers will take part in fun on-the-water games and activities designed to enhance their paddling, communication, and teamwork skills. They can choose between kayaking and stand up paddleboarding.
PREREQUISITE: Campers must be at least 8 years old to stand up paddle.
This activity is a great opportunity for campers to develop their skills outside of the spring and summer season on their day off from school! This session is scheduled in the morning to take advantage of typically calmer conditions, which are ideal for wakeboarding. Open to both beginning, and experienced riders.
PREREQUISITE: Campers must be at least 8 years old.
PREREQUISITE: Returning LITs only. Must have served as an LIT in a previous season.
